Conceptual and advanced system design Observing regulatory codes Technology employed Customer requirements Balance of systems Site visits Permitting Technical support during the construction phase of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) You will also provide recommendations for continuous improvements in project designs, plans, processes, and product development.
Key responsibilities include:
Reviewing and developing requirements for solar and battery storage interconnection to utility distribution systems or industrial applications. Assisting in the development of energy production models, project schedules, specifications, bill of materials, scopes of work, standards, and quotes from suppliers. Coordinating with internal and external designers and consultants in creating, delivering, and maintaining drawing packages and project documentation. Working collaboratively with project execution and process development teams, including project procurement, construction management, and project controls.
Requirements
You have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Energy Systems, or other relevant studies in the field of renewable energy. It is an advantage if you already have some relevant work experience in the field of energy storage and energy conversion.
You are proficient in MS Office. Knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage. You are business fluent in English and Spanish; any other language is a plus. A willingness to travel is advantageous (with an available driver's license).
