Packaging Manager, Eu Consumables Private Brands

Job Requirements:

As a highly skilled Packaging Manager, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative packaging solutions for Eu Consumables Private Brands. To be successful in this role, you will need a strong background in packaging science, graphics design, or a related field, as well as 5+ years of experience in designing packaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop packaging solutions that meet industry standards and regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure packaging solutions meet business needs
- Develop and maintain knowledge of standard industry packaging and printing practices
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments

Requirements:

- B.S. in Packaging Science, Graphics Design, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in designing packaging solutions
- In-depth knowledge of standard industry packaging and printing practices
- Experience with various substrates such as folding cartons and corrugated
- Experience in design and production of prototypes and new product development
- Understanding of packaging qualification practices and standards
- Experience meeting production supply chain, product fulfillment, transportation, and agency requirements
- Experience using MS Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project, and related software
- Hands-on project leadership experience, ideally within retail or FMCG
- Fluency in English and an additional European language are a must
- Master's Degree preferred
- Experience managing local and international packaging suppliers
- Experience running common packaging software such as AutoCAD, TOPS, Adobe Illustrator, and similar products
- Experience with developing unique test protocols and procedures
- Knowledge of standard cost systems to optimize profitability of new packaging designs or concepts
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, and processes employed in the development of consumer finished goods packaging, electronics transportation, and bulk packaging
