About the Role

Vodafone Group Technology is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Platform Architect to join its Digital Services team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in driving the transformation of Vodafone's Business Products and establishing the company's leadership position in the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a cloud infrastructure platform strategy that aligns with Vodafone's business goals and objectives.
  • Design and architect cloud solutions that are simple, well-architected, and scalable.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to create repeatable frameworks for infrastructure as code.
  • Collaborate with Product Development and PPE Development teams to design solutions that meet the PPE Platform and Integration roadmap.
  • Conduct impact assessments to identify component selection, new development scope, and other key considerations.
  • Develop infrastructure solution component and integration designs that meet the PPE Platform and integration strategy.
  • Own and maintain the PPE Infra Platform Strategy and Architecture, working closely with the VF Infrastructure Architecture team.
  • Ensure that developed solutions are fit for purpose, robust, secure, and scalable.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of AWS and its solutions and products.
  • Experience with Terraform, CI/CD pipeline tools, and cloud computing and infrastructure on AWS.
  • Knowledge of cloud native services and how to deploy them.
  • FinOps principles and good knowledge of software development.
  • Experience in architecture design, implementation, and rollout of technology services, preferably in an international environment/global context.
