Job Title: Assistant Director of Sales Leisure

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Sales Leisure to join our team at Fairmont La Hacienda. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and executing sales strategies tailored to the leisure segment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve leisure rooms' revenues targets in line with the S&M budget.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with our GSO network and leisure partners to maximise opportunities and uphold our reputation.
  3. Stay up-to-date with hotel offerings, rates, and promotions, actively promoting our services and amenities to existing and potential customers.
  4. Conduct thorough market analysis to recommend tactics and maintain our competitive edge in the luxury market.
  5. Drive leisure sales through various channels, including wholesalers, retailers, and consortia, and represent the resort at trade shows and exhibitions.
  6. Collaborate with the Director of Sales to explore new markets and prepare compelling proposals, and contribute to the development of sales action plans and special packages.
  7. Ensure accurate and timely submission of administrative reports, such as sales call schedules and month-end reports, and maintain comprehensive CRM records to support sales activities reporting.
  8. Participate in weekly sales and revenue meetings, offering insights and tactical promotions, and oversee proposal management within 24 hours, coordinating with the reservations department for timely responses.
  9. Uphold departmental and hotel standard operating procedures, and proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities, nurturing relationships with key stakeholders.
  10. Foster strong relationships with Accor GSO and other industry partners, such as Convention Bureau or local administrations, and mentor and share expertise with the leisure sales team.
  11. Ensure consistently high levels of guest satisfaction, personally attending to guest needs, and utilise CRM daily to enhance best practices and manage assigned portfolio.
  12. Foster cross-departmental communication to address guest feedback effectively.

Requirements

  1. Strong understanding of luxury market and fluent proficiency in both Spanish and English.
  2. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and dynamic can-do attitude.
  3. Team player with a supportive attitude, exceptional interpersonal skills, and ability to effectively deal with guests and other team members.
  4. Experience with Opera preferred, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  5. Highly organised, results-oriented, and guest-service-focused, with the ability to complete work within given deadlines and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
  6. Bachelor degree in Hotel Management, preferred, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in leisure sales within a luxury hotel or resort is required.
  7. Applicants are kindly requested to possess either EU citizenship or a valid work permit for Spain.
