About the Role:

Ferrero International S.A. is seeking a highly skilled Plant Technology Manager to join our team. As a key member of the Plant Leadership Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality food products are manufactured while driving process improvements and optimizing production lines.

You will collaborate closely with Production Managers, Quality, and Maintenance teams to guarantee product integrity and own process parameters. Your expertise in food manufacturing processes, including phases, cycles, and production models, will be essential in driving success in this role.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define procedures and rules for process data acquisition
  • Provide technical guidance on new or improved projects for production lines, ensuring alignment with company goals
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and provide solutions for production managers through dedicated meetings
  • Work with the Technical Category Development team, Maintenance, and other relevant departments to adapt plans and machinery features to raw materials, semi-finished goods, and used packaging
  • Provide advice on workability tests for raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods on new machinery, in collaboration with Ferrero Engineering, suppliers, and UGP
  • Perform regular monitoring of parameters that may affect product and material reactions on different production lines
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Technology, or related discipline
  • 7-9 years of relevant experience in a production plant environment
  • Strong management experience and technical knowledge of food manufacturing lines
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with people from all levels
  • Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office programs is a plus
  • English and Spanish are mandatory, with any other languages being a plus
