Job Description

Eurecat Technology Center is seeking a highly motivated researcher to join our Robotics and Automation Unit in Barcelona. As a Robotics Researcher, you will contribute to the development of autonomous navigation systems for ground mobile robots, with a focus on path planning and SLAM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the definition and development of new robotic concepts and ideas.
  • Contribute to the scientific advancement of projects.
  • Develop, validate, and maintain software for applied research.
  • Support robot integration, field trials, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate on scientific publications.
  • Assist in project management to ensure proper execution.

Requirements:

  • PhD, MSc, or equivalent experience in Robotics, AI, Computer Vision, or related fields.
  • Background in Autonomous Navigation, Path Planning, and/or SLAM.
  • Knowledge of ROS and good programming skills.
  • Experience with low-level control for ground robots.
  • Team spirit and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, flexibility, and creativity.
  • English language proficiency.
