Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled System and Network Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our product infrastructure, ensuring it remains operational and resilient.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Infrastructure Maintenance: Oversee the health and performance of our product infrastructure, ensuring it remains operational and resilient.
- Alert Management: Swiftly address alerts and issues within our Service Level Agreement (SLA) to ensure minimal downtime.
- Server Administration: Install, configure, and manage servers across production and development environments, maintaining their health and performance.
- Security Enforcement: Proactively apply patches and updates to safeguard our infrastructure against vulnerabilities.
- Efficiency Optimization: Fine-tune our IT landscape to ensure seamless operations, security, and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Linux and Windows Mastery: Expertise in both Linux distributions (Ubuntu, Debian) and Windows Server (2019 and beyond).
- Automation Excellence: Proficiency in tools like Ansible, Terraform, and scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
- Advanced Networking: Ability to configure and optimize network infrastructure, including switching, routing, and firewall rules.
- Scripting and Troubleshooting: Skilled in creating elegant scripts to solve complex problems and troubleshooting with ease.
- Network Service Management: Experience with DNS, DHCP, SSH, VPN, SNMP, Postfix, Apache, HAProxy, and other network services.
- Orchestration and Containers: Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, and other containerization technologies.
- Virtualization Expertise: Familiarity with Proxmox, VMware, and other virtualization platforms.
- Hyperconvergence Knowledge: Understanding of Nutanix, vSAN, VxRail, Ceph, GlusterFS, and other hyperconvergence solutions.
- Experience and Tenacity: Over 5 years of Level 2 and Level 3 support resolution experience, with a proven track record of problem-solving.
- Frameworks and Standards: Adherence to industry best practices, including ITIL, ISO 27K, and 20K.
- Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, contributing expertise while fostering a positive work environment.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required, with proficiency in French being a significant plus.
