Job Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst plays a key role in analyzing financial information to produce forecasts of business, industry, and economic conditions. This position will have an active role in the monthly reporting and analysis, ad hoc reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and overall PL management. The Senior Financial Analyst oversees European markets and reports directly to the Regional Business Controller for Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide operational support to the Regional Business Controller and act as a Finance Partner to Regional Local Leadership
  • Track expenses and revenue vs. budget/forecast and reconcile variances, analyze current and past trends in KPIs including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures
  • Drive analysis process by enforcing policies and procedures, improving existing processes and techniques, recommending actions to improve profitability
  • Determine cost of operations by establishing standard cost rates related KPIs; maintain and improve consumption-based costing models; evaluate profit and cost efficiencies in various areas of the organization
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models

Organizational Alignment

Reports to the Regional Business Controller; part of global FPA organization. Enlists the support of cross-functional teams across the regions, product areas, and function.

What We Need to See from You
  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 3-4 years' experience in FPA/Controlling. Technology industry preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of MsOffice, FPA tools (Anaplan/Cognos or similar) SAP/other accounting system
  • Proven experience with analyzing large amounts of financial and operational data, with ability to translate it into actionable insights
  • Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining reports, dashboards, and data visualizations in PowerBI
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills with effective relationship building and ability to influence change and improve process
  • Full working proficiency in English
