The FPI-ICIQ 2024 Call is a prestigious opportunity for exceptional graduate students to support their enrollment in a training and research program in the field of chemistry, leading to the completion of a Doctoral Thesis in partnership with the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV).
Research OpportunitiesSelected PhD students will have the chance to develop their professional careers in academia and industry by:
- Conducting an individual research project under the direction of an internationally renowned Group Leader in a creative and stimulating scientific environment.
- Participating in a comprehensive training program in technical and soft skills, including scientific seminars, hands-on training, IP management, entrepreneurship, research integrity, knowledge and technology transfer, grant applications, project management, communication skills, and career development.
- Benefiting from a yearly personalized training program for PhD students, SHARP, which takes place during a 2-week period, with training focused on their given PhD year.
- Having opportunities for short stays in distinguished international research institutions.
Candidates should have an excellent academic record, a strong commitment to scientific research, and a solid working knowledge of English. The process of evaluation and selection guarantees the principles of competition, publicity, and transparency. Admission to the program is on a competitive basis, and only one application per person will be considered.
