Key Responsibilities:

As a Space Mechanical Systems Engineer at Alén Space, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical subsystems for small satellite missions. Your tasks will include:

• Modeling, simulating, and analyzing satellite components and structures.
• Designing detailed satellite mechanical subsystems ensuring compliance with mission requirements.
• Developing optimized structures to withstand launch and space environment conditions.
• Creating 3D models and assemblies of satellite components.
• Integrating satellite components, ensuring compatibility between different subsystems.
• Validating the design through finite element simulations.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanics, or a related discipline. You should have a strong understanding of mechanical systems and experience with design tools such as finite element analysis software. Additionally, you will need to be able to work collaboratively with other engineering teams to ensure compatibility between different satellite subsystems and optimize structural and thermal performance.
