Financial Controller - Permanent
We are looking for a seasoned Financial Controller to lead our financial management team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting.
The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, with a strong understanding of Spain GAAP and local tax laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire payroll process for Spain, including salary calculation and income tax.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of financial statements.
- Prepare and submit all required tax filings, including VAT and corporate income tax.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in handling payroll and employee tax calculations in Spain.
- Strong knowledge of Spain GAAP and local tax laws.
- Experience preparing and submitting reports to regulatory bodies.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Highly proactive and action-oriented work approach.
