About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English to students in Years 4-8, with a focus on delivering high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students. We are looking for someone who is passionate about education, has excellent subject knowledge, and is able to modify learning strategies to target the needs of individual students.
Requirements- Outstanding GCSE & A level results
- A good honours degree from a British University (2:1 or better)
- A PGCE or other qualified teacher status
- Recent experience as a teacher in a school in the UK
- Excellent subject knowledge and experience of teaching Years 4-8
- Excellent leadership and teamwork skills
- The ability to modify learning strategies to target the needs of individual students
- High expectations of pupils' effort and behaviour
- Organisational skills and ability to prioritise to meet deadlines
- Native level English speaker
- Good working knowledge of ICT systems and application of ICT in the classroom
