Job DescriptionPurpose:
This role, with a significant Fintech component, is a key part of the Legal team, responsible for managing and advising on risk and legal liability to support the group's growth as a Travel Tech Company. The role involves:
- Assisting the Fintech/Insurtech Team with the setup and implementation of initiatives according to the roadmap, ensuring strategic project development.
- Advising the team on daily business decisions, reviewing contracts from a commercial and regulatory perspective, and providing preventive legal counsel.
- Legal Support: Advising on risks from new initiatives, monitoring regulations impacting HBX activities.
- Contract Review: Providing legal review focusing on regulatory compliance.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborating with Tax, Compliance, HR, IT Security, and others for aligned advice.
- Process Improvement: Reshaping workflows to adapt to HBX's fast-paced environment, designing guidelines and scalable processes.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish is desirable.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities under tight deadlines.
- Risk management and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail, autonomy, and ability to connect issues across functions.
- Team-oriented, flexible, adaptable to change.
