We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantitative Researcher to join our team in Marbella, Spain.
Job DescriptionAs a Senior Quant Researcher, you will be responsible for developing new systematic trading strategies and showcasing the value of our data for trading and investment purposes. You will work closely with our Data Science - QIS Team to identify predictive signals within our data and formulate systematic trading strategies spanning multiple asset classes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantitative finance, machine learning, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience as a quantitative researcher. They will also have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as proficiency in Python and SQL.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with a talented team of researchers and analysts. You will also have ownership of projects and contribute to the development of new ideas and solutions.
Responsibilities- Develop new systematic trading strategies and showcase the value of our data for trading and investment purposes.
- Work closely with our Data Science - QIS Team to identify predictive signals within our data and formulate systematic trading strategies.
- Create white papers to enhance our reputation as a thought leader in the alternative data industry.
- Present trading strategies to quantitative analysts and portfolio managers.
- PhD/MSc in Quantitative or Computational Finance, or from any related fields including Machine Learning, Econometrics, Applied Mathematics, etc.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience as a quantitative researcher.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Strong enthusiasm for technology and familiarity with big data technologies.
We offer a competitive salary of approximately €80,000 per year, depending on experience. Our headquarters is located in Marbella, Spain, and we offer a hybrid work model allowing for up to 2 days remote per week. We also provide relocation assistance and a free company shuttle bus service from nearby cities.
