Industrial Engineering Internship Opportunity in Spain

We are seeking an ambitious Mechanical or Industrial Engineering student to support our TES Rotating Mechanical Team by doing an internship project for our location in Tarragona, Spain.
Job DescriptionThe selected intern will be responsible for:
- Documenting and evaluating different mechanical seals API plans
- Considering seal and process fluids
- Designing pressures and temperatures versus operating conditions, operating and maintenance procedures
The intern will be guided by the Dow Rotating Mechanical SMEs in Tarragona during all the project, especially when deviations are identified and corrections are needed to implement.
Responsibilities- Document and evaluate the different mechanical seals API plans.
- Considering seal and process fluids.
- Design pressures and temperatures versus operating conditions, operating and maintenance procedures.
The intern will be guided by the Dow Rotating Mechanical SMEs in Tarragona during all the project, and especially when deviations are identified, and corrections are needed to implement.
Key Deliverables:
- Comprehensive documentation of the mechanical seals API plans evaluation
- Identification of areas for improvement and implementation of corrective actions
Expected Outcomes:
- Improved understanding of mechanical seals API plans and their applications
- Enhanced technical skills in designing and evaluating mechanical systems
Requirements:
- Currently studying for a bachelor or master's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent
- Good working knowledge of Spanish and English
- Capacity to learn fast, interpersonal effectiveness, teamwork, and initiative
