Central Warehouse Specialist

EDP Energias de Portugal S.A. is a global leader in the renewable energy sector, and we are seeking a highly skilled Central Warehouse Specialist to join our team.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to manage the day-to-day operations of our central warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, and dispatching materials, as well as maintaining the warehouse and its equipment.

1. Manage the receipt and dispatch of warehouse components, ensuring compliance with established procedures and protocols.
2. Record all warehouse activity and inventory levels using SAP and other relevant tools.
3. Coordinate with contractors working in the warehouse, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to health and safety standards.
4. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, ensuring all materials and equipment are properly stored and secured.
5. Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy and completeness.
6. Support the logistics team in coordinating transportation of materials between the warehouse and wind farms, repair workshops, and suppliers.
7. Generate purchase orders and service requests for repairs, transportation, and materials as needed.
8. Ensure proper storage and disposal of waste materials.
9. Perform routine maintenance on warehouse equipment and components as per EDPR procedures.
10. Prepare and submit reports on warehouse activity as required.

1. Secondary or higher education in a relevant field (e.g., supply chain management, logistics).
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a purchasing, logistics, or warehouse environment.
3. Strong knowledge of wind turbines and their components.
4. Advanced SAP skills.
5. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
6. Certificate of proficiency in forklift operation and crane operation.
