About the Role

We are looking for an experienced designer who can create engaging user experiences across multiple games. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our design team, UI artists, and programmers to ensure seamless integration of UI within the gameplay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design wireframes and interactive prototypes to define intuitive UX flows and layouts.
  • Collaborate with the design team and UI programmers to create visually compelling and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Develop and refine UX strategies that improve gameplay experiences and user interaction.
  • Ensure consistency in UI design by maintaining and adhering to design guidelines across all games.
  • Work closely with programmers to seamlessly integrate UI components into game logic.
  • Optimize UX and UI to enhance accessibility and overall game engagement.
  • Create and document design specifications, interactions, and implementation guidelines.
  • Participate in quality assurance testing to ensure UX and UI elements function as intended.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles, particularly for games.
  • Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools to communicate design ideas.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with programmers, artists, and other stakeholders.
  • A robust portfolio demonstrating game UX/UI design, including user-friendly and visually appealing game interfaces.
  • Proven experience in a Game UX/UI Designer or similar role, preferably in the gaming industry.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Figma.
  • Experience creating UI elements for AAA games.
  • 5+ years of experience in the gaming industry.

Salary

$90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
