About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our Infrastructure team at Abalia Consulting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and developing secure and highly available infrastructure to support our software development teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as part of the Infrastructure team on sprints that evolve our core platform and systems.
  • Provide point of expertise on infrastructure and CI/CD to our wider engineering teams.
  • Automate the build and deployment of software to our cloud platform.
  • Eliminate repetitive manual operations from our daily lives.
  • Improve our monitoring and alerting systems.
Requirements
  • Experience in predominantly cloud infrastructure roles (AWS) working within teams that practice DevOps.
  • Expertise in deploying infrastructure as code with Terraform and Ansible.
  • Excellent knowledge of building and running Docker images/containers.
  • Good knowledge of monitoring and alerting using Graphite, Statsd, Prometheus, Grafana, and PagerDuty.
  • Expertise in at least one scripting or programming language (Python, Bash, Ruby, Node, Golang, Java).
