About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medical Sales Professional to join our team at Orascoptic. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our superior magnification and resolution surgical loupes and headlight systems to healthcare clinicians.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a territory plan to meet or exceed sales goals, ensuring strategic growth and expansion of our product offerings.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships in assigned territory, providing exceptional support and becoming a trusted advisor for our customers.
  • Utilize CRM software to effectively manage sales opportunities and stay informed on products, technologies, and competitive activity.
  • Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and training to healthcare clinicians, showcasing the value and benefits of our products.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs and pursue new sales opportunities, driving revenue growth and increasing market share.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including Customer Care, Technical Support, and Manufacturing, to ensure prompt and quality customer service is provided.
  • Contribute to product innovation by gathering insights from healthcare clinicians and working with cross-functional teams to develop new ideas.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales strategies and promotional materials, staying up-to-date on industry trends and competitors' offerings.
  • Travel domestically (ground/air) up to 50%, representing our company at industry conferences and events, expanding our network and promoting our products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent required; minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience preferred, preferably in the medical/dentistry industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to build and maintain good rapport and handle situations with confidence, tact, and resourcefulness.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to travel around 50% via ground or air required; experience using CRM software and other sales tools preferred.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience and performance. This figure includes a base salary and potential bonuses based on individual and team performance.
