Maintenance Engineer Alba Synchrotron

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Lightsources. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our synchrotron facility, including the maintenance and repair of complex technical systems.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement maintenance plans for various assets and technical installations, including HVAC, compressed air, and de-ionized water cooling systems.
- Gain expertise in the maintenance and operation of industrial control systems and develop deep technical knowledge of existing systems.
- Develop technical specifications, cost estimates, and tender documents for new projects and maintenance tasks.
- Supervise and coordinate with subcontracted companies for maintenance tasks and develop new technical installations for new beamlines.
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Naval Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a maintenance engineer in a similar field, with a strong background in maintenance processes definition and implementation.
- Experience with industrial control systems and a strong understanding of technical installations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The selection process will be carried out through a competition-opposition system. The selection board will assess the candidates' CVs and invite the top-rated candidates to an interview. The interview will include a presentation of professional experience, auto-assessment of soft skills, vision of the job position, and motivation for applying.
