We are currently seeking a highly skilled Field Operations Engineer to join our team in Barcelona, Spain. As a Field Service Engineer UPS, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to service calls in a professional manner while on duty;
  • Read, understand, and comply with all procedures outlined in the Field Procedure Manual;
  • Perform all work in a safe manner and adhere to established company safety policy;
  • Ensure spare parts are properly accounted for using established parts procedures;
  • Keep the dispatching team informed of your schedule and the status of all open jobs;
  • Maintain the accuracy of customer listings by reporting errors;
  • Submit weekly paperwork in a timely, accurate, and complete manner and provide detailed debriefs of completed jobs;
  • Keep company vehicles clean, neat, and properly maintained;
  • Report and promote sales or service leads to the proper department;
  • Attend customer meetings as required;
  • Be a reference point for key customers in case of emergencies and troubleshooting;
  • Be available to work weekends and nights as per local labor laws;
  • Assist the department supervisor with day-to-day operational duties.

Essential Requirements:

  • Secondary school diploma or University degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Basic Level English proficiency;
  • Experience in technical service area working in a service/test environment of UPS equipment;
  • Computer literate, valid driving license, travel availability, weekend availability (frequently scheduled with little notice), occasional heavy lifting required (30 kg);
  • Self-starter with effective planning, organizing, and time management skills.
