Position Overview:As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be a key player in architecting, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable server-side applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance solutions that power our web applications and services.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend services using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions that meet business requirements.
- Implement and maintain database structures and optimize queries for performance, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Work with modern frameworks and tools, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices, such as Agile development methodologies.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure high standards of coding and mentor junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
- Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and other communication protocols, ensuring seamless data exchange between systems.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to propose innovative solutions that drive business growth and improvement.
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer who can bring value to our team. The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Backend Developer with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages and asynchronous programming, with a focus on scalability and performance.
- Experience with popular frameworks such as Express, and a solid understanding of microservices architecture and serverless computing.
- Proficiency in designing and optimizing database schemas, with knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced work environment, with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.
