About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Portero/a de Equipajes to join our team at Barceló Group.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's luggage service.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Welcome guests to the hotel and assist them with their luggage
  • Transport luggage to reception and guest rooms
  • Provide information on local attractions and services to guests
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide assistance as needed
  • Inform guests about hotel services and amenities
  • Escort guests to their rooms and explain the operation of lighting and other services
  • Distribute newspapers and deliver food to guest rooms
  • Perform security rounds
  • Distribute mail

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Previous experience in customer-facing roles
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish
  • A valid driver's license

Estimated Salary: $25,000 - $35,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This salary estimate is based on national averages for similar positions in Madrid, Spain.
