Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and supervision of control and safety engineering activities for our projects. This will involve close collaboration with our team across Norway, the UK, and Spain, ensuring that all engineering design activities meet international standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and supervising the creation of critical electrical engineering documents, including electrical engineering standards, single line diagrams, and technical specifications.
  • Serving as the technical manager for contracts related to the supply of electrical equipment, including preparing RFQ packages, evaluating quotations, and reviewing engineering designs and document deliverables.
  • Collaborating with the technical team and other company departments to support manufacturing follow-up, installation, and commissioning site activities.
  • Representing Kyoto Group As with vendors and subcontractors, and attending FAT and SAT at shops or project sites for electrical systems.
  • Participating in the final stages of Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for electrical systems and addressing troubleshooting issues at project sites.

Requirements

  • Master's or bachelor's degree in industrial or electrical engineering.
  • Over eight years of experience in preparing specifications for electrical equipment and designing electrical facilities for power plants, oil & gas, or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Experience with equipment and installations such as power transformers, substations, PV power plants, electrical heaters, containerised solutions, and low-voltage distribution cabinets.
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit, integrity, self-motivation, and passion for your work.
  • Strong communication skills with a high proficiency in oral and written English.
