We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Native API Engineer to join our API Platform Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our API Management Platform.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining our API Gateway and associated services
- Establishing and spreading API and proxy knowledge and best practices within the team and across the organization
- Building and automating CICD pipelines for the platform and services
- Participating in API strategies, implementation, and governance
- Enabling internal and external teams with their API development journey
Requirements:
- Strong experience with cloud-native applications and infrastructure
- Good experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred, Azure nice to have) and IaC
- Familiarity with common DevOps technologies (K8s, Terraform, Github, Ansible, etc.) and programming languages (e.g. TypeScript, Python)
- Good experience with NGINX and API Gateways / API Management Solutions
- Good background knowledge of system architectures, network protocols, and operating systems
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with secure authentication mechanisms like OAuthv2.0, JWT, SAML
- Knowledge on performance testing tools
- Knowledge on LUA
