Job Type: Permanent, Hybrid
We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our Life Science team in Europe, supporting the Regional Marketing Manager and key stakeholders in a matrix organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market studies and provide strategic recommendations to support business growth in the region.
- Monitor and collect market trends, consumer insights, and competitive data to address Lubrizol solutions to market needs.
- Develop and execute marketing plans aligned with business priorities and support business growth.
- Lead, organize, and support regional events, including tradeshows, seminars, and online follow-up metrics.
- Participate in the creation of digital marketing campaigns, implement them, and follow metrics to ensure maximized outputs.
- Manage vendors and a part of the marketing budget to ensure good alignment with marketing strategy and maximized outputs.
- Develop sales tools, including creating new concepts and developing collections with the regional technical team to promote our capabilities and sustainability efforts.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in sciences (cosmetic sciences, chemistry, biochemistry) with a major in marketing or combined with a master's degree in marketing.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the Beauty & Personal Care industry (ingredient suppliers or cosmetic brands), preferably in a marketing role.
- Experience in adjacent industries (e.g., Home care, Nutra, Food, Pharma) might be considered.
- Knowledge and experience in CRM are a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.
- Capability to think strategically and work on multiple projects in parallel.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a complex, matrix organization.
- Willingness to achieve excellence and go the extra mile.
- Knowledge in Home care is an additional benefit.
- Willingness to travel minimum 25% in Europe-Africa region.
- Fluent in English (both verbal and written), and another language is a plus.
