About the Role
You will be leading initiatives to increase adoption of our Design System, driving culture change and advocating for inclusive design thinking. This role involves partnering with product, design, engineering, and other stakeholders to understand team needs and build a roadmap aligned with our mission.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain tools, components, guidelines, and standards to establish a consistent design language.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand team needs and build a Design System roadmap.
- Lead initiatives to increase adoption of our Design System.
- Collaborate with designers on system contributions, advocating for high standards and adherence to governance policies.
What You Need to Succeed
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Experience in owning, creating, scaling, and driving adoption of Design Systems.
- Enthusiasm for developing your design skills, with expertise in visual design fundamentals and UX/UI design.
- Knowledge of design tools, including Figma plugins and integrations.
- Familiarity with cross-platform web design and understanding of technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Storytelling and communication skills to share ideas effectively with a diverse audience.
- A portfolio demonstrating your experience and approach to design.
