Job Summary

Oracle Contractors is seeking an experienced Oracle R12 Financials Functional Consultant to join our team for a 26-week contract engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing Oracle E-Business Suite projects in a European finance shared service centre.

Key Responsibilities

  • Embed ownership for Oracle Financials applications within all areas and regions of the business.
  • Develop and support expert users in the business, working with them to increase their understanding and capabilities in Oracle.
  • Work with finance teams to improve existing working practices and introduce new ones.
  • Collaborate with the internal change team to develop a formal Oracle training program.
  • Manage external resources to deliver projects as required.

Requirements

  • Deep experience of Oracle R12, particularly in Financials and Supply Chain modules.
  • Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Cash Management (CM), ebTax, Purchasing (PO), and iProcurement (iproc) expertise.
  • Localisation experience in multiple European countries and shared service environments.
  • Ability to translate end-user requirements into specifications for IT.
  • Experience in implementing and managing projects, facilitating acceptance, and exposing best practice Oracle usage.
