Main Responsibilities

Job Description:
We are currently searching for an experienced Software Developer to join our international team in Madrid.
In this role, you will participate in the development and operations team, concentrating your activities on software configuration management, setting up software infrastructure, coding and unit testing of back-end and/or front-end solutions, generation of automated End2End tests, and operations and monitoring of deployed micro-services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Master's degree or equivalent qualification in computer science, engineering, and/or physics.
- +3 years' experience in Software Engineering.
Mandatory Skills:
- Modern programming languages (Java, Python, Angular).
- Software repositories (svn, git).
- Relational databases (MySQL).
- Project management tools (JIRA, Confluence).
- Continuous integration/deployment (Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, Ansible, Docker).
- Linux Operating Systems (Ubuntu, Red Hat).
- Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and familiarity with DevOps practices.
Salary and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this position is €60,000 per year, plus comprehensive benefits offered by Serco, including relocation assistance, hybrid working model, engaging company events, and opportunity to work in an international environment.
