Bored Panda, a leading tech-driven media and entertainment company, is seeking a highly skilled Norwegian Video Editor to join our multi-language department. We produce uplifting content in 17 languages for people of all ages and are known for our award-winning art and pop culture magazine, boredpanda.com, as well as our TOP DIY channel, Crafty Panda.
Job OverviewWe're looking for a talented individual who is passionate about making a positive impact on the world through video content. As a Norwegian Video Editor, you will be responsible for compiling and assembling videos according to project requirements, utilizing provided footage and materials. You will collaborate closely with our team to understand project objectives, expectations, and timelines.

- Collaborate closely with the team to understand project objectives, expectations, and timelines.
- Edit and arrange video content to create a cohesive and visually appealing final product.
- Incorporate graphics, effects, and transitions as necessary to enhance video quality.
- E nsure that videos align with brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual style.
- Perform basic audio editing, including adjusting levels, adding background music, and incorporating sound effects.
- Review and address feedback from the team and make necessary revisions to meet project specifications.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in video editing techniques.
- Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.) is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in basic video editing techniques such as cutting, trimming, and sequencing.
- Familiarity with graphic design principles and the ability to incorporate graphics into video content.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent time management and prioritization abilities to meet urgent deadlines.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and understand project requirements.
- Proficient in Norwegian language.
The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
