Job Description

Vall d'Hebron Institute of Research (VHIR) is seeking a highly motivated Predoctoral Researcher to join our team in the field of nanoparticle design and pharmacokinetics. The successful candidate will participate in the project "NANOPARTÍCULAS DE CeO2 PARA LA REGULACIÓN METABÓLICA Y EL TRATAMIENTO DEL ESTRÉS OXIDATIVO Y ENFERMEDADES RELACIONADAS".

The group of design and pharmacodynamics of nanoparticles at VHIR focuses on the synthesis, characterization, and applications of engineered inorganic nanoparticles in the field of medicine. We aim to master the inorganic core (size, structure, and shape) and understand and control the linking of molecules to the nanoparticle surface, engineering nanoparticles that can interact with biological systems in a specific way.

The Predoctoral Researcher will be responsible for following up the PhD program associated with the experimental program of the funding project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in molecular biology, chemistry, and biochemistry, as well as experience in producing inorganic nanoparticles.

We offer a full-time position with a salary of 18,180.41 € per year, plus expenses derived from research stays and enrollment in doctoral studies. The contract duration is 4 years (FPI grant). The starting date will be according to the call, within the next four months.
