About the Role

This position will be located in a global company that sits at the intersection of cutting-edge medical science and innovative digital technology. Key Responsibilities:

  1. As a key lead for Data Solution delivery, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of data and analytics (DnA) products and services, encompassing technology adoption, security and compliance, and business process change.
  2. Incubate and adopt emerging DnA technologies, launch and deliver products and services faster with rapid prototyping and iterative methods to prove and establish value.
  3. Demonstrate abstraction of DnA patterns and drive enterprise-wide scalability, reusability, and sustainability of platforms and services.
  4. Focus and align DnA innovation efforts with the business strategy, IT strategy, and legal and regulatory requirements.
  5. Establish and update strategies, implementation plans, and value cases to implement emerging technologies.
  6. Drive DnA innovation using appropriate people, processes, partners, and tools.
  7. Identify and develop DnA capabilities and ecosystem partnerships in alignment with digital strategy and in support of enterprise architecture and integration.

Accountability:

  1. Has end-to-end accountability for services and products that are incubated, established, and delivered across cross-functional business areas.
  2. Serves as a point of escalation, review, and approval for key issues and decisions.
  3. Takes decisions on resource and capacity plans in line with business priorities and strategies and close collaboration with delivery teams spanning analytical, master data, and data products.
  4. Decides on continuous improvement within the team.
  5. Decides on the program timeline, governance, and deployment strategy.

Requirements:

  1. Solid understanding of analytical and technical frameworks for descriptive and prescriptive analytics.
  2. Strong familiarity with AWS, Databricks, and Snowflake service offerings.
  3. Production experience delivering data lake projects, including data acquisition, quality, transformation, and publishing.
  4. Awareness of data product change management and risk mitigation.
  5. Monitoring and improving data product service delivery offerings.
  6. Strong collaborative interactions with customer-facing business teams.
  7. Data product-centric approach to defining solutions.
  8. Collaborate with business in gathering requirements, grooming product backlogs, driving delivery, and ongoing data product enhancements.
  9. Agile delivery experience managing multiple concurrent delivery cycles.
  10. Solid foundation in analytical data life cycle management.
