Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Supervisor to lead and direct inventory control and inbound operations at our warehouse and distribution center in Rural Hall, NC. This is a permanent, Direct-Hire opportunity that offers a salary range of $60,000-$70,000 per year (depending on experience) and has a 1st shift working schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Inventory Management: Execute business processes and service standards to deliver efficient and effective inventory management, product receipt, product put away, and product storage.
  2. Leadership: Give guidance and direction through subordinate associates to achieve service levels and productivity goals.
  3. Inventory Analysis: Utilize inventory tools for tracking & analysis, auditing, and reporting.
  4. Process Improvement: Accountable for standards, metrics, and procedures that maximize inventory management efficiencies.
  5. Order Allocation: Execute policies for customer order allocation to DC's both domestic and Mexico.
  6. Inventory Control: Responsible for order allocation and selection.
  7. Operational Procedures: Execute operational procedures for Inventory Control and Inbound Operations.
  8. Storage Management: Monitor storage requirements to meet storage needs for Princess House inventory.
  9. Collaboration: Collaborate with home office cross-functional departments to ensure coordination of DC activities.
  10. Process Suggestions: Provide suggestions for procedures to improve accuracy and efficiencies of areas of responsibility.
  11. Operational Support: Operate forklift truck and hand truck as needed to perform duties.
  12. Transportation: Must be able to drive switcher to move trailers as needed.
  13. Vehicle Operation: Must be able to drive the box truck as needed.

Requirements:

  1. Education: Associates degree.
  2. Experience: 3+ years of supervisory/managerial experience in functional areas of responsibility.
  3. Problem-Solving: Must have excellent problem-solving skills.
  4. Decision Making: Must be an excellent decision maker.
  5. Planning and Organizing: Skilled in planning and organizing.
  6. Communication: Excellent communication skills.
  7. Computer Skills: Moderate to advanced computer skills.
  8. Customer Relationship Management: Skilled in Customer Relationship Management.
  9. Strategic Thinking: Must be able to think strategically and tactically.
  10. Language: Spanish a plus.
