About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team at Vodafone Group. As a key member of our Home, Technology & Products (HT&P) team, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing Vodafone Consumer products in fixed and mobile devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop software for platform and product components throughout the development, testing, and go-live phase.
  • Conduct functional and technical analysis and specification, understanding of platform-specific architecture and integration for all platforms in scope.
  • Ensure quality, reliability, and performance of assigned platforms and components.
  • Stay up-to-date with current technology developments within the role scope, including handsets, operating systems, business applications, middleware, networks, and cloud environments.
Requirements
  • 2-4+ years of experience in software development.
  • Strong experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
  • Knowledge and experience of working in agile teams (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Proven software development experience with microservices on cloud hyperscales (AWS, GCP), Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Proven experience of unit & integration testing frameworks.
  • Experience with web service technologies (REST, JSON, XML).
