Job Description
The Strategy & Analytics team plays a crucial role in analyzing industry trends, setting business targets, and reviewing performance in the UK and Europe. As a Strategic Commerce Director, you will work closely with business teams to develop long-term strategies and short-term actionable plans for TikTok's commerce business in EMEA.
You will deploy a data-driven approach to assess the strategic and financial health of logistics, evaluate performance, benchmark competition, and conduct comprehensive assessments to produce thorough strategic plans and recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in a consultative manner with business teams to provide data-driven insights and support business reviews and decision-making.
- Develop long-term strategy and short-term actionable plans for TikTok's commerce business in EMEA.
- Deploy a data-driven approach to assess strategic and financial health of logistics, evaluate performance, benchmark competition, and conduct comprehensive assessments.
- Serve as a thought partner to regional business owners and stream leads to help structure and solve complex supply chain-related issues.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
- 5+ years of experience in consulting, private equity, or corporate strategy.
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, with the ability to develop leading-edge business models and strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred qualifications include consumer, retail, and logistics experience, as well as proficiency in Mandarin.
