Sales Specialist - Business Development
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Specialist to join our team. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in supporting our customer acquisition efforts by generating leads, qualifying prospects, and contributing to revenue growth.
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify, research, and engage potential B2B customers through outbound calls, emails, and CRM tools.
- Qualify leads and schedule product demonstrations for the senior sales team.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions in our CRM system.
- Collaborate closely with marketing to execute targeted campaigns and follow up on generated leads.
- Understand and communicate the features, benefits, and value of our platform to prospective clients.
- Assist in preparing and delivering presentations and sales proposals.
- Monitor sales metrics to track personal performance and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and sustainability challenges relevant to our target markets.
Requirements:
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or a related field (or relevant experience).
- 3+ years of experience in inside sales, business development, or a similar customer-facing role.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken);
- Experience using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
- Knowledge or interest in sustainability, ESG, or supply chain solutions is an advantage.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office/Google Suite.
- Ability to use digital sales tools such as email automation, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and data enrichment tools.
- Strong research and lead generation abilities.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Results-driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Organized and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
