We are seeking a seasoned VDI Infrastructure Expert to join our team. As a VDI Infrastructure Expert, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions.

The ideal candidate will have rich experience in VDI infrastructure planning, designing, and implementation with various technologies.

The successful candidate will define, document, and conduct proof of concepts (POCs) for VDI services, as well as create high- and low-level design documentation for VDI infrastructure.

You will also be responsible for large-scale application deployments and customizations for VDI environments, troubleshooting major issues identified during the UAT/PILOT phase, and customizing VDI solutions based on customer requirements.

An added responsibility will include designing and deploying Azure AVD Workspace VDI Infrastructure in two different regions with FSLogix Profile management along with Nerdio Manager automation.

In addition, you will be expected to design and deploy Citrix suites like XenApp/XenDesktop, NetScaler, PVS, Storefront, and AppSense for User Profile Management.

A strong understanding of scripting (VBScript/Powershell) for easy administration is required.

Fluency in Spanish and English is mandatory.

Responsibilities:
  • Daily Health Check and Review AVD + Nerdio Environment
  • Monitor Service Now Queue and act accordingly.
  • Analyse new Service Request and Coordinate with requester.
  • New application onboarding and configuration on AVD + Nerdio Platform
  • Rewrap application packages using PSADT toolkit and configure with blob storage.
  • Coordinate with application Vendor/Owner.
  • Coordinate with Security, Network & Firewall Team.
  • Coordinate with UAT and Preprod testers to validate Changes, performance, and functionality.
  • Update different Nerdio scripted action and action groups to customize/optimize the application and desktop delivery.
  • Update or Configure Autoscaling Criteria to Ramp up/down of AVD session hosts if required.
  • Provide remote support to end-users.
  • Work on reported Incidents, problem tickets and Service Request.
  • Provide On-Call Support.
  • Build required monthly reports as collaboratively finalised with Customer.
Requirements:
  • Rich experience in VDI infrastructure planning, designing, and implementation with various technologies.
  • Define, Document and Conduct POC for VDI Services.
  • Responsible for High and Low Level Design Documentation for VDI infrastructure.
  • Large scale application deployments and customizations for VDI environments.
  • Troubleshoot major issues identified during UAT/PILOT phase.
  • Customize VDI solution based on customer requirements.
  • Design and Deploy Azure AVD Workspace VDI Infrastructure in two different region with FSLogix Profile management along with Nerdio Manager automation.
