About the Role

Cameco is committed to building a diverse workforce reflective of the communities we operate in. We are seeking an experienced Operational Supervisor to join our team at the McArthur River Mine, located in northern Saskatchewan.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the short-term management of production drilling, raiseboring, underground mucking, and underground construction. They will also be involved in the reliability of underground mining equipment activities, continuous improvement, mine safety, and mine QMS management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operation of production drilling, raiseboring, underground mucking, and underground construction.
  • Assist with the reliability of underground mining equipment activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, mine safety, and mine QMS management.

Requirements
  • Grade 12 diploma.
  • Minimum of 10 years of mine operational experience, underground preferred.
  • Previous front-line supervisor experience.
  • Ability to obtain a Saskatchewan supervisor's certificate.
  • Great understanding of mine safety and safety systems.
