About the Role:


Demonstrate and improve your cloud expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Cloud Solutions Architect in our thriving technical community and growing business in Spain.


As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will work closely with our Public Sector customers in Spain and Portugal, providing strategic recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency to support their key initiatives.


Your primary responsibility will be to architect Amazon Web Services solutions, managing the technical relationship and deliverables with our Public Sector customers. You will also be responsible for developing and executing single or multi-day workshops, leading white boarding sessions, authoring white papers and blog posts, and responding to complex technical inquiries.


Internally, you will be an advocate, acting on behalf of the customer to help drive continual improvements to the AWS platform, sharing their needs and wants to influence the roadmap of AWS features and services. You will also help shape the future of the Solutions Architecture organization by helping to hire, coach, and mentor others.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Work directly with organizations from different regulated industries in Public Sector (Government, Education, Healthcare, Non-profit, State Linked Accounts and their dedicated ISVs) in Spain and Portugal.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, helping customers maximize the power of the AWS cloud.
  • Manage the full technical relationship with customers, providing strategic recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Be the voice of the customer, sharing their needs and feedback to influence AWS product roadmap.
  • Contribute to defining new cloud-native reference architectures and technical content.
  • Build credibility as an AWS expert through activities like whitepapers, blog posts, workshops, and user groups.
  • Grow your cloud consulting expertise and impact in an exciting, fast-paced environment.

About the Team:


The PS Solutions Architect team is part of the global Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS) which is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

Requirements:



  • Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
  • Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.
