Medical Science Liaison - Biologics

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison to join our team at Galderma. As a Medical Science Liaison, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scientific engagement plans with key opinion leaders in the region, providing comprehensive medical and scientific education to external stakeholders, and gathering insights to inform Galderma's strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain scientific engagement plans with key opinion leaders to provide comprehensive medical and scientific education to external stakeholders.
  • Develop a network of key opinion leaders and maintain ongoing professional relationships to gather insights that provide medical and scientific support for Galderma's medicines and areas of interest.
  • Provide scientific and technical support for the field-based sales force, behaving as a credible partner to support their immediate needs through non-promotional trainings, education, presentations, and other engagement.
  • Deliver credible scientific and medical presentations to key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Produce, review, and update scientific internally approved presentations and assets for assigned therapeutic areas.
  • Provide field-based support to assist Medical Information in dealing with enquiries.
  • Maintain knowledge and awareness of clinical research and publications in the Dermatology field.
  • Support Galderma research by identifying investigators, undertaking scientific exchange, and providing feedback and insight to medical and clinical teams.
Requirements:
  • Medical, Pharmacy, or higher degree qualification (e.g. MSc, PhD) in a relevant life sciences field.
  • Demonstrated experience in dermatology and/or biologics.
  • Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred, particularly in a customer-facing role.
  • Demonstrable experience of developing and presenting scientific/medical content at a variety of levels, including to key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented (matrix) environment and partner with different stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and work effectively in a constantly changing environment.
  • Ability to develop good relationships and credibility with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and of regulatory processes.
  • Working knowledge of the Social Security in Spain, including the ability to understand clinical priorities and how processes work within this system.
  • Frequent travel will be required.
