The role of Head of Logistics involves overseeing the definition and implementation of the department's strategy, encompassing storage, transport, demand planning, procurement, and control of external suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and implement stock and warehouse policies and strategies, ensuring timely product supply to customers.
  • Develop and execute goods transport policies and strategies, facilitating efficient product delivery to various warehouses and customers.
  • Manage and monitor production-finished product planning versus needs, coordinating with departments to ensure timely availability dates.
  • Coordinate with customers and departments to confirm finished product availability dates, controlling ETD/ETA dates and complying with delivery conditions.
  • Negotiate with suppliers regarding costs, delivery times, and quality of service (SLA's), ensuring alignment with business objectives.
