Job Title: Secondary Science Educator

Job Summary:

Globeducate is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our team at St. George's British International School. As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Science and Biology to students in Key Stage 4 and 5 (Biology A-level).

Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons to students in Science and Biology.
• Assist in the development of departmental schemes of work and contribute to the planning of curriculum content.
• Mark, test, and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Liaise with Senior Managers to address any concerns or issues related to student progress.
• Attend and participate in weekly meetings and contribute to the development of the school's mission and values.
• Keep up-to-date with developments in the field of Science and Biology, incorporating new ideas and approaches into teaching practices.
• Undertake other reasonable duties as requested by Senior Management.

Requirements:

• Qualified teacher status with a degree in Biology or a related field.
• English mother tongue level or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience.
• Desirable experience in laboratory settings.
• A clear philosophy on student achievement and the ability to challenge students to reach their full potential.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to lead by example and build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
