Technical Support Expert

Fortinet is expanding its technical support teams in the EMEA region to provide exceptional service to high-profile customers. We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Expert to join our team.
The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of data networking protocols, including TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
This role requires experience in security products and technologies, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, DDoS, VPN, and web application firewalls. Additionally, the candidate should have previously worked in a technical support position within the telco and large enterprise space.
The Technical Support Expert will be responsible for troubleshooting complex issues, managing customer communications, and building long-term technical relationships with clients. They will also participate in customer conference calls, reproduce customer environments on lab equipment, and develop best practices deployment and troubleshooting documentation.
We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 4-6 years of experience in a technical support role
- Advanced knowledge of English (written and spoken) and other languages are an advantage
