Your Role

As a Chief Architect, your main responsibilities will involve:

  • Owning the Zurich Global Ventures architecture agenda, establishing specific design authorities for the most complex running projects and programs.
  • Driving the continuous integration of the Zurich Global Ventures IT landscape.
  • Signing the Zurich Global Ventures IT roadmap ensuring scalability, performance, and security in architecture designs.
  • Assessing new technologies and tools to determine their fit for the organization, recommending technology solutions that can improve efficiency and performance.
  • Engaging with stakeholders and translating business objectives into clearly defined business cases with focus on IT budgets and financial schedules.
  • Coordinating the IT budget planning cycles of local teams together with Zurich Global Ventures strategy office.
Your Skills and Experience

As a Chief Architect, your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

  • Deep knowledge of IT architecture principles, including enterprise architecture, solution architecture, and technical architecture.
  • Experience with a wide range of technologies such as cloud computing, microservices, DevOps, and cybersecurity.
  • Experience in strategic planning.
  • Expertise in architectural frameworks such as TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework).
