About the Role

Job Title: Cloud Architect Lead

Job Summary:

Vodafone is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect Lead to lead our team of Cloud architects and DevOps engineers in designing and building Cloud & Edge products and enabler platforms for private and public sector customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Cloud architects and DevOps engineers to design and build Cloud & Edge products and enabler platforms.
  • Support the development of Cloud & Edge offerings within Vodafone Business.
  • Production and maintenance of architecture/design documents for solutions and roadmaps.
  • Capturing, documenting and sharing Architecture best practices.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with other Architecture areas within Vodafone.
  • Providing guidance to product and solution designers.
  • Developing cross technology architecture strategy through the formation of working groups.

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated/self-starter with strong leadership, communication and influencing skills.
  • 5+ years of working within a technology organisation in a similar role.
  • Deep understanding and experience in the application and development of products/strategies relating to Cloud technology.
  • Understanding and experience in the application of Architecture frameworks and techniques.
  • Experience in implementing and adapting architecture techniques within multiple delivery scenarios.
