Job Description
At Abbott Laboratories, we are seeking a highly skilled Field Technical Engineer to join our team. As a Field Technical Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to Sales Representatives and Customers relating to Abbott Medical products.

Purpose of the Job
- Provide technical support to Sales Representatives and Customers.
- Assist with education wet labs for physicians.
- Ensure all EMEAC current Business Ethics, Regulatory and Quality procedures are followed.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide technical support of equipment and assistance over the whole national territory to physicians.
- Support physicians during the enrolment and follow-up phase of clinical studies, and collaborate with the Therapy Marketing Group in those studies.
- Perform Product Presentations.
- Provide support to Sales Team.
- Analyze competitor's devices and maintain updated marketing database.
- Perform training concerning the use of new products.
- Ensure all Abbott Medical standing Quality Procedures are followed.
- Provide Market information to Sales Department.
- Produce Monthly reports on personal activities.
- To ensure that all EMEAC current Business Ethics, Regulatory and Quality procedures are followed.
- Represent the Company in a professional manner and with the highest integrity.
- Maintain business operations in accordance with corporate policies with respect to pricing, quotes, credit terms, and expense reporting.
- Keep informed his/her immediate manager (business progress, activities)
- Assist his/her manager to build the yearly operating plan required.
- Give support to other areas if it's necessary.
- This position is in contact with customers.
- The position requires a 25% travel.

Education and Competencies
- University Degree: Biomedical Engineer, Biotechnologist. Previous internships in Hospital/operating room.

Knowledge and Skills
- English: high level - C1 Advanced.
- Medical background (preferable).
- Knowledge in computer: Microsoft Office.

Natural Abilities
- Professional image.
- Communication skills.
- Ethical character.
- Willing to travel extensively.
- Hard Worker.
- High level of confidence.
