Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Medical Director with expertise in gastroenterology to join our Pharmacovigilance department. In this role, you will be responsible for providing medical support and advice for clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve study goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide medical leadership to study teams, including protocol development and implementation
- Contribute to site selection, review, and approval of study protocols and amendments
- Ensure medical validity of primary endpoints and study subject safety
- Collaborate with internal groups to address procedural and budgetary items
- Serve as chief liaison between sponsor and PPD departments performing required tasks during all study phases
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A medical degree (MD, MB/BS, or equivalent) with strong clinical experience in gastroenterology
- Board certification in Gastroenterology Hepatology is considered an advantage
- Experience within the pharmaceutical industry, clinical trials, and pharmaceutical medicine
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Strong communication and presentation skills
