About the Role

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Data Engineer to join our Azure Data team. As a Cloud Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and deploying cloud-based data platforms that power Microsoft's cloud services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop cloud-based data platforms using Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and other related services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data platforms with other Microsoft services.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure cloud-based data solutions.
  • Work with data engineers and scientists to design and implement data pipelines and workflows.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Requirements

  • BS (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or IT technical discipline.
  • Extensive years of software design, development, and architecture experience.
  • Significant years of building commercial-grade, robust, and scalable solutions in C# / C++ / C or other object-oriented programming languages.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing cloud online services or extensive experience using cloud online services.
