Cyber Security Analyst

Cyber Defence is the focal point for all security activities across the company. We are responsible for keeping the company safe by going the extra mile in terms of preciseness and diligence. As part of the Security Team, Cyber Defence is responsible for maintaining security operations, focused on delivering high-quality detection monitoring and response solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively identify and respond to cyber threats, ensuring the company's security posture is always up-to-date.
- Implement and ensure appropriate standards are in place to prevent security breaches.
- Craft detection content to improve incident response techniques and reduce the risk of security incidents.
- Prioritize triage events to ensure timely incident response and minimize business disruption.
- Improve existing detection content and playbooks to stay ahead of emerging threats.
- Perform on-duty/on-call support to ensure 24/7 security coverage.
- Handle major security incidents, working closely with the Security Team to contain and resolve the issue.
- Understand the company's environment and applications to identify potential security risks.
- Analyze and document incidents to improve security processes and prevent future occurrences.
We're looking for a cybersecurity professional with experience in threat analysis, incident response, and security operations. You should have a strong understanding of current threat landscape, offensive tooling, and OWASP and MITRE ATT&CK techniques.
Excellent communication skills are essential, as you'll need to present complex security topics to non-technical stakeholders. Experience with malware and exploit analysis, as well as technical writing skills, are also highly valued.
Requirements- At least 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in a SOC/CSIRT setup.
- Strong knowledge of current threat landscape, offensive tooling, and OWASP and MITRE ATT&CK techniques.
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
- Experience with malware and exploit analysis, or reverse engineering.
