About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI Director to lead our Centre of Excellence. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Essity's AI strategy and driving innovation across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive AI adoption and ensure strategic alignment.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive AI strategy that aligns with Essity's overall vision and goals.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the Centre of Excellence.
- Leadership and Governance: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Centre of Excellence, ensuring effective governance and compliance with laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Team Management: Lead a team of four direct reports, providing guidance, support, and resources to drive success.
- Performance Metrics: Establish key metrics to evaluate the Centre of Excellence's success and regularly report to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Over 10 years of experience in AI, data science, or a related field.
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate insights into outcomes.
- Familiarity with underlying technologies, including data science and machine learning.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams and drive innovation.
- Trustworthy and diplomatic, with strong stakeholder relationships.
